Energy Healing...does it work?

A decade ago I studied theta healing at the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas. Theta healing purports to heal people of almost any illness. At first I was pessimistic, however I saw it work consistently. Hence I did a quick hypothesis test in my mind, and understood this works. I appreciate Reiki, hypnosis, Ayurveda, aromatherapy, and more.

Over the years I have talked with many people about Theta and other non-traditional treatments, most bring up negative connotations with non-traditional therapy. I consistently get quotes similar to," I prefer science to prove results ". I find those quotes funny, since I am a theoretical mathematician, and provable viability of Theta requires a hypothesis test ( or similar argument via scientific method ). Scientists have never published anything on the topic, hence the results are still unknown.

Does anyone want to work on a publication on testing the validity of Theta healing? I would wager that it works better than standard therapies for many ailments. However, talk is cheap, the proof is in the pudding! I would love to collaborate with anyone interested in medical research, studenta are encouraged to apply.
